Or in another word, perfection.
You guaranteed us a balcony at Chevre d’Or. We had two balconies!
Chevre d’Or is unique, with wonderful service, breathtaking views, yet very welcoming and friendly.
The first night there was a spectacular fireworks display at Cap Ferrat…we had the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy.
We were also very impressed with the Excelsior Palace, where we were provided with an upgraded room with large terrace overlooking Portofino Bay. We enjoyed a family reunion with both our daughters/sons-in-law in Rapallo for three days, and had them over to the Excelsior for dinner on the terrace. The food and service were outstanding. Rapallo proved to be the perfect spot to explore Portofino and Cinque Terre.
Hertz provided the exact model of car that we needed and there were no problems or delays. Interestingly, the drop off in Genova was very close to Brignole train station, making this a remarkably easy transition.
Stephanie’s choice of train schedule was perfect for us.
