Michele's passion for adventure travel was fuelled when she gave up the world of high finance in  London for the high mountains in the Himalayas. She decided to learn Spanish and explore Latin America, where she spent 18 months discovering the continent, from Guatemala down to Patagonia, working for a charity, leading trekking groups, hiking through the Andes, watching the wildlife, and meeting the people.
From there, she knew the only job for her was in travel.

In 1999, Michele became a Tour Leader for a UK Adventure Tour Operator, spending eight years leading trekking holidays across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. She has climbed Kilimanjaro 8 times, Aconcagua 3 times, hiked the Inca Trail 6 times and been to Everest Base Camp 5 times! She has also organized and led many charity fundraising groups. Michele moved to Vancouver in 2007 and has been a part of the Renshaw Travel Family since 2009. 
She specializes in Custom and Adventure Travel, ranging from cultural holidays in Peru, up to high altitude trekking peaks in the Himalayas, and has intricate knowledge of the lesser developed regions; she also leads a few tours every year.
